Roger approached us to design a house for him in the garden of his detached house in Stanmore. This was a challenging design problem for which we found an exciting and sympathetic solution. ‘Backland’ development is rarely looked on favourably by planners and, in view of the current economic uncertainty, Roger decided to put the project on hold.
